What Loomstone does with your data
Nothing. Loomstone is an entirely on-device game. It does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. There is no user account, no analytics backend, no tracking, and no advertising.
Data stored on your device
Loomstone saves a small amount of gameplay data locally, on your device only:
- Your settings (rotation direction, glow intensity, haptics, volumes, accessibility options, and similar)
- Your statistics: best times, completion counts, and daily-puzzle streaks
- Any puzzle you have in progress, so you can resume it after closing the app
- Whether you have finished the tutorial
- A local record of whether the Full Loom unlock has been purchased
None of this leaves your device.
No iCloud sync
Loomstone does not use iCloud, CloudKit, or any other sync service. Your settings, statistics, and streaks live on the device where you played them and are not synced across devices or backed up to any server operated by the developer.
Because this data is local, deleting the app deletes it. Your purchase is the exception: it is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device (see below).
App Store purchase
The one-time Full Loom unlock is processed entirely by Apple’s App Store. Loomstone never sees your payment information. Your purchase is associated with your Apple ID for restore purposes, and Apple’s StoreKit is the source of truth for it on every device you sign in to.
Microphone, camera, location, contacts
Loomstone does not request or use the microphone, camera, location, contacts, motion data, or any other personal device data. The app plays audio, but it never records it.
No Game Center, no notifications
Loomstone does not use Game Center, does not have leaderboards, and does not send push notifications.
Crash reports and diagnostics
Loomstone does not include any third-party crash reporter, analytics SDK, or tracking library. If you choose to share crash logs with Apple via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may include Loomstone crash data in the reports they send to developers. This is controlled entirely by you through iOS’s system settings.
Children’s privacy
Loomstone does not knowingly collect data from any user, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes in a material way, the update will be reflected here and noted in the app’s release notes.
