Privacy Policy

What Arclo does with your data

Nothing. Arclo is an on-device game. It does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. There is no user account, no analytics backend, no tracking, and no advertising.

Data stored on your device

Arclo saves a small amount of gameplay data locally:

  • Your current level for each mode and tier
  • Best scores and best level times
  • Your full-game unlock status
  • App preferences (sound and music settings, Orbit orientation, and similar)

All of this stays on your device unless you use the optional iCloud sync described below.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you are signed in to iCloud, Arclo synchronizes the small set of data above across your Apple devices using Apple’s key-value storage. This keeps your level progress, best scores, best times, and unlock in step everywhere.

  • Sync is handled entirely by Apple. Arclo does not operate any server.
  • The synced data is limited to game progress, scores, times, preferences, and unlock status. No personal information, no usage analytics, no identifiers.
  • If you are not signed in to iCloud, everything still works and is saved only on your device.

Game Center (optional)

If you are signed in to Game Center, your best scores are submitted to leaderboards so you can compare runs with other players.

  • This is managed by Apple’s Game Center. Arclo only submits a numeric score to the relevant board.
  • If you are not signed in to Game Center, the rest of the game works normally and no scores are submitted.

App Store purchase

The one-time full-game unlock is processed entirely by Apple’s App Store. Arclo never sees your payment information. Your purchase is associated with your Apple ID for restore purposes.

Microphone, camera, location, contacts

Arclo does not request or use the microphone, camera, location, contacts, or any other personal device data.

Crash reports and diagnostics

Arclo does not include any third-party crash reporter, analytics SDK, or tracking library. If you choose to share crash logs with Apple via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may include Arclo crash data in the reports they send to developers. This is controlled entirely by you through iOS’s system settings.

Children’s privacy

Arclo does not knowingly collect data from any user, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes in a material way, the update will be reflected here and noted in the app’s release notes.
